Bambali agro park: what the launch means for Sédhiou and Senegal

The President of the National Assembly joined several officials, including Trade Minister Serigne Guèye Diop. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Sadio Mané, the promoter of SM10 Agro.

The Bambali agro-industrial park, led by Sadio Mané, aims to boost the processing of local agricultural products, particularly mango. According to details shared at the ceremony, the announced investment totals 11.7 billion FCFA. The laying of the foundation stone marks the official start of construction in the footballer’s home village.

Promoters say it will handle 8,500 tonnes per year and create over 1,000 direct jobs, with a goal of 2,500 positions eventually.
