The Cameroon Senate is fully prepared for the June 2026 ordinary session, commencing tomorrow, June 9, 2026.
In a display of administrative meticulousness, Senate Secretary-General Gustave Léopold Ngane, alongside Deputy Secretary-General and senior officials, conducted a comprehensive inspection this morning, June 8, 2026, of the Senate facilities at the Economic and Social Council.
This final assessment ensured all critical infrastructures were primed for seamless parliamentary proceedings. The delegation closely examined conference halls, VIP reception areas, banquet rooms, and the main chamber where senators will convene throughout the session.
Following the inspection, the Secretary-General expressed full confidence in the operational readiness of all facilities. He confirmed that all logistical and technical preparations had been finalized ahead of the session’s opening.
As per parliamentary tradition, the June session primarily focuses on budgetary guidance discussions, strategic exchanges between the Upper House and the Supreme Court’s Audit Chamber, as well as a thorough review and adoption of legislative proposals.
