In a decisive move to strengthen regional stability, authorities in the Tibesti region of Chad recently showcased a significant seizure of illegal items—including firearms, cannabis, and counterfeit alcohol—during a high-level security briefing.
The operation, led by General Alifa Weddeye, Delegate-General of the Government for the Tibesti province, highlighted the ongoing efforts of defense and security forces to protect local communities. Speaking to local media, General Weddeye commended the vigilance of security personnel while urging continued diligence in combating illicit activities that threaten public safety.
