The Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Colombia have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration between the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission and the Security Council, placing peace at the top of the global agenda during a high-level meeting in New York.
In the heart of the United Nations headquarters, Omar Hilale, Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the UN and current Chair of the Peacebuilding Commission, welcomed Leonor Zalabata Torres, Colombia’s Ambassador to the UN and June 2026 President of the Security Council, for a courtesy visit aimed at aligning peace strategies.
