Laborex Tchad: celebrating three decades of vital health service in Chad

Laborex Tchad, a prominent subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently marked its thirtieth year as a cornerstone in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad. A warm and celebratory event on Thursday, May 28, honored the journey of a company that has become an indispensable force in ensuring the availability of essential medicines and medical devices throughout the nation.

Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the national health system over the past three decades. The company diligently supplies quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers in various locations, including the capital N’Djamena, as well as Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and numerous other towns.

The celebratory gathering featured addresses from key figures, notably Mme Ngarmbatina Sou IV, the Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and M. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.

During her remarks, Mme Ngarmbatina first extended her sincere appreciation to the Chadian authorities for their crucial support in the establishment and growth of Laborex Tchad. She then conveyed gratitude to the financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital facilities, and all clients who have placed their trust in the enterprise.

“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of habit, but on a foundation of trust. Professionalism defines our mission: to ensure the correct medication reaches the right place, at the optimal moment, for every patient across the national territory,” she emphasized with conviction.

Visibly moved by the occasion, she added, “Thirty years is a significant milestone. We look forward to at least 70 more years of service ahead.”

For his part, M. Sébastien Roux reflected on his extensive 24-year career within the CFAO group, commending the profound human journey that Laborex Tchad represents. He paid tribute to the company’s past leaders, specifically mentioning Mme Maria Mion Calvet, and applauded the dynamic leadership currently provided by the General Director, Mme Tignocqua.

“Laborex is a company with a rich history, yet it consistently maintains a youthful spirit, thanks to the dedication of all its human resources,” he affirmed.

He also extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as to partner laboratories, banking institutions, and the entire staff for their unwavering daily commitment.

“It is through the collective efforts of everyone involved that we are able to ensure a consistent and reliable supply of pharmaceutical products across the country,” he declared.

The ceremony concluded on a high note, filled with festive energy and the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a lasting impression on attendees.
