Chad president concludes UAE visit upon return to N’Djamena
Chad’s President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno returned to N’Djamena after an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he held talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno arrived back in N’Djamena late yesterday evening, wrapping up a high-level official trip to the United Arab Emirates. The visit included two significant meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan—one at the Presidential Palace and another at the Chadian leader’s temporary residence.
Upon touchdown at N’Djamena International Airport, the President was greeted by key government officials, including Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff, cabinet members, and other high-ranking military and civil advisors. The official welcoming committee also featured the Mayor of N’Djamena, symbolizing the capital’s full participation in the homecoming ceremony.
