Arsenal kicks off the 2026/27 Premier League season against Coventry City

The 2026/27 Premier League season will kick off with fresh anticipation as newly promoted Hull City face the formidable Manchester United under the leadership of Senne Lammens. Everton will host Crystal Palace, while Ipswich Town, another promoted side, travels to Sunderland for their return to the top flight. Nottingham Forest welcomes Leeds United, and Brentford squares off against Tottenham Hotspur.


On Sunday, August 23, Brighton, featuring Maxime De Cuyper, will take on Aston Villa, the Europa League winners led by Youri Tielemans and Amadou Onana. Manchester City, yet to name a successor to Pep Guardiola, will begin their campaign against Bournemouth. Newcastle United, in turn, hosts Liverpool.


The first matchday concludes on Monday, August 24, with the London derby between Fulham and Chelsea.
