BAMAKO, July 31, 2026 — Digital technology is increasingly becoming a core element of discussions among Sahelian nations. In Bamako, Niger is actively participating in the fourth edition of Mali’s Digital Week (SENUMA), which commenced on July 28 and is scheduled to conclude on August 1, 2026.
This significant gathering, operating under the theme « Mali’s digital ecosystem: current state, challenges, and prospects for successful digital transformation », convenes numerous stakeholders to deliberate on the transformative shifts impacting administrations, businesses, and public services.
Niger’s engagement at this event goes beyond mere diplomatic presence. Representatives from the Ministry of Communication and New Information Technologies, the National Agency for the Information Society (ANSI), the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Post (ARCEP), Niger Poste, and the Advanced School of Electronic Communications and Post (ESCEP-Niger) are all present in Bamako.
