The transfer of Mason Greenwood continues to be a topic of debate among football fans, as the Englishman’s future at Marseille remains uncertain. After being linked to AS Roma, Greenwood has now changed his mind and is expected to join Fenerbahçe.
As the situation unfolds in Italy, it’s clear that Greenwood’s transfer is not just about the club he joins, but also about the player himself. The 22-year-old has been struggling to find his footing at Marseille, and his future is now more uncertain than ever.
Roberto Pruzzo, an Italian journalist, believes that Greenwood’s transfer will not end well. ‘Greenwood? This type of negotiation always ends badly,’ he said in an interview with Radio Radio. ‘We can’t guarantee that the player wants to join Roma, and in the end, he’ll end up at Fenerbahçe.’
Fernando Orsi, another Italian journalist, takes a different view. ‘The football doesn’t stop with Greenwood,’ he said. ‘I don’t trust him as a person, and with half of that amount, we can find someone who suits Gasperini’s philosophy.’
Paolo Marcacci, meanwhile, is already thinking about Plan B for Mason Greenwood. ‘Moreira is a great player, a profile that fits perfectly with Gasperini’s vision,’ he said. ‘His salary is out of reach for Italian clubs, but he’s willing to give up the Champions League.’
