He outlined the newly restructured municipal organization and presented key action plan priorities designed to revitalize Libreville’s urban management. The discussions centered on transformative projects poised to reshape the capital’s landscape for years to come.

Key priorities discussed included reorganizing urban space, developing modern parking facilities, expanding and enhancing green and botanical spaces, addressing illegal public land occupation, and bolstering local infrastructure to elevate living standards. Particular emphasis was placed on modernizing municipal administration through digital transformation of services.

This strategic initiative aims to streamline citizen administrative procedures, enhance public service quality, increase transparency in municipal operations, secure revenue collection processes, and substantially boost the commune’s own revenue streams. Efforts must focus on improving household waste collection, transportation, treatment, and recycling to ensure a healthy environment for all residents. Reaffirming his commitment to a modern and attractive Gabon, the President emphasized that Libreville, as the nation’s showcase, must meet international standards in urban planning, local governance, and public service excellence.
