« Following the conclusion of Mr. Ousmane Sonko’s term as Prime Minister, I have decided to resign from the Cabinet, in line with my principles, » Dr Thior stated in his message. Dr Thior also reaffirmed his political allegiance to Ousmane Sonko, who currently serves as both the President of the Pastef party and the President of the National Assembly.
