Chad president wraps up UAE visit and returns to N’Djamena
The President of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, has returned to N’Djamena following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he held talks with the UAE’s President, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Head of State, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, touched down in N’Djamena late yesterday evening, concluding a significant official trip to the United Arab Emirates.
During his visit, the Chadian leader engaged in two high-level meetings with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, followed by a second meeting at Marshal Déby’s residence.
Upon his arrival, the President was greeted by Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several cabinet members, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
