General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor visited soldiers injured in Korbol, emphasizing the critical need for swift medical evacuation to N’Djamena for advanced treatment.
The commander of the Chad-Central African Republic (CAR) joint force, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, recently visited soldiers wounded in the Korbol department. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor went to the Sarh Outel Bono provincial hospital to extend his support to military personnel injured in clashes that occurred the preceding Thursday in Korbol.
The primary objective of this visit was to assess the health status of the two soldiers who sustained injuries during an armed assault in the area. The casualties included Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg from gunfire. Both soldiers received initial treatment at the Sarh provincial hospital, but their injuries necessitated more specialized medical attention.
Following discussions with the medical team and hospital staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the urgent transfer of the injured soldiers to N’Djamena to ensure they received comprehensive and advanced medical care. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the deputy director of the Sarh provincial hospital, commended the swift response of the defense and security forces in organizing the evacuation of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment. According to hospital sources, the medical evacuation of the two soldiers was successfully carried out with urgency on the same day, significantly enhancing their prospects for recovery.
