On May 21, 2026, Cameroon’s Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of Defense, Mr. Beti Assomo Joseph, hosted General Issakha Malloua Djamous, Chad’s Minister of National Defense, Veterans, and War Victims, in Yaoundé. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Defense conference hall, marked a pivotal moment in strengthening the historical military and diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Led by General Issakha Malloua Djamous, the Chadian delegation was received in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cordiality.
