Tidjane Thiam commends Ouattara’s appeasement efforts, urges national unity in Côte d’Ivoire

The president of the Democratic Party of Côte d’Ivoire – African Democratic Rally (PDCI-RDA), Tidjane Thiam, delivered a significant national address on August 6, 2026. In his message, Thiam lauded President Alassane Ouattara’s recent initiatives aimed at easing political tensions across the nation, while simultaneously appealing to all Ivorians to rally around the core principles of unity and collective aspiration.
