The High Authority for Party Regulation (HARP) of Pastef-Les Patriotes has released the provisional list of candidates for the upcoming party leadership election, slated for the next general assembly. According to the official decision, only Ousmane Sonko’s candidacy has been deemed valid at this stage.

The electoral oversight body confirmed in its published document that no other applications met the necessary criteria for acceptance. The upcoming Pastef-Les Patriotes congress, expected within the coming weeks, will proceed with naming the party’s new president.
