Cameroon’s President Paul Biya has sent a congratulatory letter to Madagascar’s President Michaël Randrianirina on the occasion of the island nation’s Independence Day.

In his message, President Biya expressed warm wishes for unity and prosperity to the people of Madagascar.

“Mr. President and dear brother, I am pleased to extend to you, on the occasion of the celebration of your country’s national day on June 26, my heartfelt and warmest congratulations. I also join my wishes of unity and prosperity for the Malagasy people,”

wrote President Paul Biya in his official correspondence.
