An African Alliance Against Security Challenges

Following the audience, the Congolese diplomat highlighted the unity of views among the two leaders on major continental issues.

« As brothers with a pan-African vocation, President Denis Sassou N’Guesso and his brother, President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, regularly consult on crucial matters affecting our continent, including peace and security. This is why we were sent to Lomé to seek the president’s views on these issues », Constant-Serge Bounda declared.

This diplomatic move reaffirms the joint desire of Togo and Congo to strengthen African frameworks for dialogue and cooperation. For both capitals, this is a condition sine qua non for addressing Africa’s multiple security and humanitarian challenges.
