Niger joins elite security alliance ahead of 2026 FIFA World Cup
The Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Raia, made an official visit to the International Police Cooperation Center (IPCC) this week. The IPCC serves as a hub for law enforcement and security agencies from nations participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This gathering represents a critical step in establishing a robust global security framework for the tournament.
During his visit, Raia engaged in high-level discussions with security leaders from the Moroccan National Security Directorate and the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGSN-DGST). The meeting underscored the growing recognition of Morocco as a reliable and globally respected partner in international security collaboration.
As the 2026 World Cup approaches, nations worldwide are intensifying their preparations to ensure the safety of athletes, officials, and spectators. The IPCC’s collaborative approach brings together diverse security strategies, fostering trust and coordination among participating countries.
