The government of Mali has announced the return of its ambassador to Algeria, as well as the reopening of its airspace for flights to and from the country.
This decision comes just hours after Algeria reopened its airspace to Malian planes, marking a new milestone in relations between the two nations.
According to a statement released by the Malian government, the ambassador’s return is part of efforts to revitalize cooperation and friendship between Mali and Algeria.
The move also allows all civil and military aircraft carrying flights from or to Algeria to operate through Malian airspace.
