Kenya and Chad deepen diplomatic ties with shared vision

The Kenyan leadership underscored the importance of unified African positions to advance the interests of our people while fostering international cooperation. President William Ruto extended special recognition to Chad for its decisive contribution to the UN-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti, where Chadian troops play a vital role in restoring stability and hope to the Caribbean nation.
In a productive meeting at the State House of Nairobi, President Ruto exchanged views with President Mahamat Idriss Déby on strengthening bilateral and multilateral partnerships. The discussion also celebrated Chad’s instrumental role in the recent Africa Forward Summit, which concluded successfully in the Kenyan capital.
