Chad peace: Emmanuel Nadingar urges honest dialogue amid tensions

Emmanuel Nadingar, Chairman of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chad chapter, addressed the media on May 23 at the Sabangali headquarters in N’Djaména’s third arrondissement.

During the press briefing, the former Prime Minister emphasized the urgent need for peace in response to escalating global conflicts and Chad’s socio-political climate, which he described as increasingly complex.

Nadingar highlighted how violent clashes over resources worldwide have pushed communities to close ranks and adopt rigid stances. Within Chad, he acknowledged that “significant developments have unfolded,” though he refrained from elaborating further.

To counter these challenges, he urged all Chadians to reject communalism, isolationism, and acts of violence, stressing that unity is the only path to resilience. He called for a transparent and sincere dialogue as the foundation for lasting peace, warning that division would only weaken the nation’s ability to confront its challenges.

The Universal Peace Federation, an NGO established in 2005, operates in over 190 countries, advocating for global harmony and cooperation.
