Gabon’s communication authority suspends news site info 241 over controversial article

The High Authority of Communication (HAC) in Gabon has taken decisive action, ordering the immediate suspension of the news website Info 241. This significant move by the regulatory body stems from a controversial article published by the online platform.
The contentious piece, titled « Lanlaire balance sur Oligui : 150 000 € offerts, vidéos compromettantes, bisexualité, 20 milliards dilapidés… », became the focal point of the HAC’s decision. At the heart of the controversy is Lanlaire, identified as Anges Landry Mbeng, a Gabonese influencer currently residing in France.
