ALGIERS – A significant stride in South-South cooperation unfolded as Algeria and Chad formalized an agreement for a new 40-megawatt electricity generation plant in N’Djamena. The accord was officially sealed in Algiers by Mourad Adjal, Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, and Passalé Kanabé Marcelin, Chad’s Minister of Water and Energy. This collaborative venture directly reflects President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s strategic vision to bolster support for African nations and foster robust regional partnerships.
