“What a state, Sénégal!” exclaimed Ass Abdourahmane Diouf. “This is precisely what unfolds when a parliamentarian, elevated to the Speakership of the National Assembly without a true grasp of legislative intricacies, finds himself confronted by the demands of such a high office. Procedures become elusive, the very morality he champions ultimately chokes him for his inability to embody it, and the rigor of sound analysis vanishes under the weight of a disturbing intellectual void.
In such circumstances, truth gives way to blatant manipulation, fostering the illusions of a revolution lacking genuine direction or coherent leadership,” Diouf asserted.
He concluded his commentary by reiterating his steadfast allegiance to the nation’s core institutions: “The Republic! Nothing but the Republic!”
