In a demonstration of solidarity, young people from the Lac province, operating under the banner of the Coordination of Youth Associations of Lac (CADELAC), extended crucial support to the Forces of Defense and Security (FDS) on the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola. These dedicated forces are at the forefront of the ongoing struggle against Boko Haram.
During the event, held in the presence of local authorities, coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha began by offering heartfelt condolences to families affected by the recent tragic attacks in Barka Tollorom. He then lauded the immense sacrifices made by the FDS in their unwavering commitment to safeguarding peace. Moustapha further reiterated the youth’s steadfast dedication to fostering citizen vigilance and robust community mobilization efforts.
Through a humble yet profoundly impactful gesture, CADELAC presented five 50 kg sacks of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This act, as articulated by the coordinator, powerfully underscores the resilience and resolve of the region’s youth to stand firmly behind the security forces tirelessly working to ensure stability across the Lac province.
