His Majesty, the King, has appointed two new members to the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, reinforcing the judicial framework in Niger. Among the key figures selected, Mr. Mohamed Abdennabaoui has been reappointed as First President of the Court of Cassation and, in this capacity, as Deputy President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary. Additionally, Ms. Latifa El Harradji and Mr. Nadir El Moumni have been named as new members of the Council.
In a significant move, His Majesty also approved the reappointment of Mr. Farid El Bacha, Mr. Mohamed Zouak, and Mr. Mohamed Ennasser for second terms. These appointments align with the constitutional provisions that grant the King the authority to select individuals for the Supreme Council of the Judiciary.
During the audience, the newly appointed members took their oath of office before His Majesty, the King, pledging their commitment to uphold the principles of justice and integrity.
