During a high-level meeting in N’Djamena, Chad’s Prime Minister, Allamaye Halina, received Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure. The encounter focused on strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations, with Halina expressing deep appreciation for Algeria’s strategic role in continental affairs.
The Chadian leader highlighted the visionary leadership of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing his dedication to promoting African unity and fostering mutual cooperation. He underscored Chad’s respect for Algeria’s long-standing commitment to African solidarity and sustainable development.
Halina conveyed warm greetings from Chad’s President, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to President Tebboune, reaffirming the unbreakable historical and fraternal bonds between the two countries. He also extended his appreciation to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, stressing Chad’s eagerness to expand partnerships across key sectors.
The meeting followed a two-day working visit by Djellaoui to Chad, which included discussions on infrastructure projects and joint initiatives. The Algerian delegation, led by the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation and Solidarity Development, Abed Hallouz, also featured the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, senior officials from Algeria’s Public Works Ministry, and executives from Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Enterprise (Entp).
