CARTE – Ligue des champions : où voir la finale PSG-Arsenal en Île-de-France ?
- Île-de-France
As the PSG-Arsenal Champions League final approaches, numerous events are set to take place across Île-de-France. While Paris itself won’t host a fan zone, supporters will have ample opportunities to gather and experience the match together. Here’s a guide to the best viewing locations.
Football fever will sweep across Europe this Saturday as Paris Saint-Germain faces Arsenal in the Champions League final in Budapest. For those unable to attend the match or secure a ticket for the sold-out Parc des Princes event, there’s no need to worry! Despite the absence of a central fan zone in Paris, numerous venues throughout Île-de-France are preparing to host passionate supporters, offering the perfect atmosphere to cheer on your team.
To celebrate outdoors…
For an authentic stadium ambiance, consider heading to Camp des Loges. This historic training ground for PSG in Saint-Germain-en-Laye is preparing to welcome up to 8,000 fans, potentially even featuring appearances by former players. Gates at the Georges-Lefèvre stadium open at 3:30 PM, with pedestrian access available via the main entrance. This exciting event is organized by the city of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
Alternatively, a massive ‘garden party’ is scheduled at the Hippodrome de Longchamp. The program includes DJ sets and a lounge area from 2 PM to 6 PM, followed by the live broadcast of the match on an impressive 30-meter diagonal screen. The same organizers are also hosting viewing parties at YOYO – Palais de Tokyo and Loft Maillot.
…and indoors
If you prefer to avoid the outdoor elements, the Grand Rex offers a fantastic indoor option. Two halls of this iconic cinema will open their doors, inviting fans to sing, support, and hopefully celebrate a victory. Organizers are promising a “curve-like atmosphere” complete with a “breathtaking state-of-the-art sound system, pre-match entertainment, and palpable tension with every play.”
The association Y’A RIEN ÇA JOUE is organizing a special evening at the Centre Paris Anim’ Jacques Bravo in the 9th arrondissement. According to the organizers, “The evening will feature the match broadcast alongside various animations and a refreshment stand.” Entry is free, but registration is essential. Doors open at 5:30 PM.
The Mairie du 17e is also in the process of arranging a public screening. While specific details are still being finalized, it has been confirmed that “due to security constraints and authorized capacity, access to the event will be strictly by pre-registration.” Interested individuals can secure their spot by signing up in advance. “Final practical information will be communicated shortly to those who have registered,” the town hall announced.
The return of dedicated fan zones
Official fan zones are planned in several communes. Two have already been announced in the Yvelines region. Le Perray-en-Yvelines will host supporters in its municipal park starting at 4:30 PM, featuring a giant screen broadcast, a refreshment stand, and food options. In Conflans Sainte-Honorine, public access begins at 5:30 PM at Parc du Prieuré, also offering a giant screen and catering. The town hall specifies, “The site’s capacity will be limited to 2,000 people.”
In Seine-Saint-Denis, a “grand football evening” is scheduled in Épinay-sur-Seine, taking place in the Parc de l’Hôtel de Ville. Sweet and savory food trucks will be on site, and entry is free. However, note that certain items are prohibited, including “bottles, chairs, stools, flagpoles, as well as firecrackers and smoke bombs.” The gardens of the Hôtel de Ville in Noisy-le-Grand will open at 5 PM for a giant screen broadcast. Be aware that “the fan zone may close if attendance becomes too high,” so arriving early is advisable. Additionally, a multitude of bars and cafes are planning special viewing events, ensuring a wide array of choices for every fan!
