On Saturday evening, all eyes in Paris will turn to the Champions League final as Paris Saint-Germain faces Arsenal. With kickoff set for 6 PM, fans across the capital and surrounding Île-de-France region are scrambling to secure the best spots to watch the potential second consecutive Champions League triumph for Les Parisiens.
no fan zone this time, but plenty of excitement
The city had initially considered setting up a massive fan zone, a project championed by Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire. However, logistical challenges led to its cancellation. Competing events like Aya Nakamura’s concert at Stade de France, Damso’s show at Paris La Défense Arena, and the ongoing Roland-Garros tournament made it impossible to accommodate such a gathering. Still, the absence of a dedicated fan zone won’t dampen the festive atmosphere.
bars and pubs step up to host the big match
Throughout Paris, numerous bars and pubs are gearing up to broadcast the final, some even venturing beyond their usual sports programming. Most venues operate on a first-come, first-served basis—no reservations accepted—so early arrival is key. By 4 PM, many spots will already be filling up.
Among the go-to destinations, Hall’s Beer Tavern in Châtelet (1st arrondissement), Café Oz on Grands Boulevards (9th), and O’Sullivans in Pigalle (18th) are perennial favorites. The Belushi’s locations at Gare du Nord (10th) and Canal de la Villette (19th) will also feature massive screens, though access may require advance booking or a cover charge.
unique venues offering more than just football
For a twist on the usual match-day experience, consider spots like Wanderlust in the 13th arrondissement, where the final will kick off a late-night party running until 6 AM. Meanwhile, the brand-new Central Chapelle in the 18th arrondissement opens at 4 PM for a combined viewing and evening event priced at €18.99.
The Boom Boom Villette shopping center in the 19th arrondissement will also join the fray, transforming its space into a PSG-themed venue with tickets available for €20. Over in central Paris, the iconic Grand Rex cinema will screen the final, though tickets are currently sold out—waitlists are open.
neighborhood hotspots and beyond the périphérique
The 17th arrondissement’s town hall had planned to host 600 spectators but is now fully booked. Alternative viewing spots include Cabaret Sauvage (19th), Hippodrome de Longchamp (16th), Virage (17th), Canal Barboteur in Bobigny, and La Clairière (16th), all equipped with large screens.
Venturing beyond central Paris, towns like Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Le Perray-sur-Yvelines will set up giant screens for locals. In Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the match will air at the historic Camp des Loges, with doors opening at 3:30 PM.
more suburban viewing options
In Noisy-le-Grand, the town hall gardens will host a fan zone, while Neuilly-sur-Marne’s athletics stadium will be converted for the occasion. Other suburban spots include Sand Fabrik in Pantin, Stade Pierre Lacans in Villepinte, and Parc de Ladoucette in Drancy, all welcoming fans from 4 PM.
In Saint-Ouen, the Communale bar will broadcast the final, while Theâtre Jean-Vilar in L’Île-Saint-Denis will project the match for guests.
a few venues resist the football fever
Not every establishment is on board with the Champions League hype. Trinquet Village in the 16th arrondissement will remain open as usual, and Ground Control in the 12th has a long-standing event planned that won’t be interrupted. Will patrons resist checking their phones for updates? The answer will unfold on Saturday.
