Tchad strengthens diplomatic security with key appointments
A landmark decree, signed on May 22, 2026, has reshaped the security landscape of Chad’s diplomatic missions abroad. Twelve professionals have been appointed as security attachés across key international locations, marking a strategic move to bolster protection for the nation’s diplomatic personnel and assets.
The newly appointed attachés will serve in the following embassies and consulates:

- Ottawa, Canada: ADAM KALLY NASSOUR
- Pretoria, South Africa: HINIMBI CLEMENT ZAMNA
- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: OUSMAN ALLATCHI BARKAI
- Malabo, Equatorial Guinea: SABIR ZAKARIA MAHAMAT
- Brazzaville, Congo: OUSSAM HASSAN
- Kinshasa, DRC: WEIGUE RAMADJI THEOPHILE
- Beijing, China: ADAM DJEROUA DJABAR
