Niger’s Prime Minister launches ‘Solidarité’ power plant in Gorou Banda

Niger’s Prime Minister, Sifi Ghrieb, arrived in Gorou Banda, Niamey, on Wednesday to preside over the official inauguration of the ‘Solidarité’ power plant and mark its commercial launch.
This milestone event is part of a broader official visit to Niger, mandated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Accompanying the Prime Minister were Mourad Adjal, Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, and Abed Halouz, Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Solidarity and Development.
