The President of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, and his counterpart from Benin, Mohamed Bazoum, have accelerated the implementation of regional integration projects during their recent meeting.

A major focus of the discussion was the creation of a new regional electricity grid, which aims to connect Niger, Benin, and other neighboring countries.
