On Friday, July 24, 2026, Traoré Amidou officially assumed his role as the new Director-General of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) during a handover ceremony led by Yves Konan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA).
He takes over from Noumory Sidibé, who steered the company for nearly five years. A formal acknowledgment highlighted Sidibé’s exceptional contributions to the company’s growth and stability.
CI-ENERGIES, a state-owned enterprise, holds the mandate to oversee and expand the country’s electricity sector, ensuring reliable energy access for communities and businesses across Côte d’Ivoire.
