In northern Mali, securing access to fundamental healthcare services – especially for women and children – continues to be a profound concern.

For Malian citizens, particularly women, access to vital health services remains critically challenging. The security crisis that began in 2012 severely impacted an already precarious healthcare infrastructure across the northern regions. Presently, a significant portion of the Malian population, including highly vulnerable infants, expectant mothers, and those injured in conflict, face immense obstacles in receiving necessary medical attention.
