Mali offers up to 2 billion FCFA for info on seven wanted terror suspects

The Malian government has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible information leading to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities.

This decisive move was announced in an official statement issued by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to intensify counter-terrorism efforts and safeguard national security across Mali.

The targeted individuals are accused of playing key roles in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered the lives of civilians and compromised public safety in various parts of the country.

The list includes:

  • Iyad Ag Ghali, also known as Abou Al-Fadel
  • Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré, alias Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô
  • Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo, referred to as Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi
  • Alghabass Ag Intalla
  • Sedan Ag Hita, with aliases such as Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani
  • Bilal Ag Acherif
  • Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi

In the statement, authorities emphasized that these suspects are actively being pursued by security forces due to their alleged involvement in multiple terror operations across Mali.

Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and collaborate closely with defense and security personnel. Any individual possessing information that could aid in locating or apprehending these fugitives is strongly encouraged to share it with the relevant authorities without delay.
