The African Union (AU) Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mines, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, has commended Morocco’s remarkable progress in these sectors, achieved under the visionary leadership of King Mohammed VI.
During a press briefing in Rabat following her meeting with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe highlighted the Kingdom’s leadership in key industries, particularly automotive and aerospace, which have positioned Morocco as a continental frontrunner.
She also underscored Morocco’s commitment to sharing its expertise with other African nations, particularly in establishing a robust value chain for critical minerals—an initiative that strengthens the continent’s industrial resilience and economic independence.
In a gesture of deep appreciation, Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe extended her gratitude to King Mohammed VI for his unwavering support of the AU’s mission and objectives.
