Togo’s top university forges ties with Creighton University in landmark deal

The University of Lomé (UL) is taking a bold step onto the global academic stage. On Friday, June 5, 2026, the institution signed a groundbreaking cooperation agreement with Creighton University, a prestigious Jesuit institution located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States.

The landmark accord was formalized by Professor Kossivi Hounaké, President of the University of Lomé, and Father Daniel Hendrickson, President of Creighton University. This partnership aims to deepen collaboration across education, research, and knowledge exchange, fostering innovation and academic excellence.

The agreement outlines a roadmap for joint programs in teaching and research, alongside enhanced mobility opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.
