Morocco demonstrates youth leadership under king’s vision

The Kingdom of Morocco has set a global benchmark for youth empowerment, proving that when the right opportunities are provided, young leaders emerge to drive progress, declared Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, during a session in Rabat.

Speaking at a public finance oversight meeting at the House of Representatives, Lekjaa—who also serves as President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation—highlighted how this transformative strategy took shape. It began with a Royal Message delivered at the first National Sports Symposium, laying the foundation for a new era. This vision was further solidified with the establishment of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, a landmark initiative that has since catalyzed nationwide development in the sport.

The approach has not only redefined Morocco’s football landscape but has also become a symbol of how structured youth programs can cultivate leadership, discipline, and national pride.
