Morocco champions humanitarian action in african peace and security council

The Kingdom of Morocco has made humanitarian action a cornerstone of its foreign policy and African cooperation, as outlined by the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, affirmed the country’s Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Ambassador Mohamed Arrouchi, during a public session of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC).

Under the guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who serves as the AU Champion on migration, Morocco has prioritized humanitarian initiatives within its diplomatic and collaborative frameworks across the continent. The Ambassador highlighted the nation’s relentless commitment to alleviating humanitarian crises wherever they arise in Africa, emphasizing Morocco’s proactive role in addressing the challenges faced by refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and communities requiring urgent aid.
