major security operation in N’Djamena’s 10th district leads to significant arrests
A comprehensive joint security operation in N’Djamena resulted in the seizure of illicit weapons and the apprehension of 447 individuals. Minister Ali Ahmat Aghabache lauded the dedication of the security forces involved.
A sweeping joint security initiative, involving the National Gendarmerie, National Police, GNNT, and various specialized agencies, recently took place across the 10th district of N’Djamena, Chad. This significant operation was personally overseen by Police Controller General Tougoud Digo Maïdé and Division General Djiddo Mahamat Haggar, with the direct involvement of Public Security Minister Ali Ahmat Aghabache.
The extensive action yielded substantial results, including the confiscation of illicit weapons and vehicles operating without proper documentation. Furthermore, authorities apprehended 165 foreign nationals residing illegally within the country, alongside 282 Chadian citizens who were unable to produce valid identification documents. Following the successful completion of the operation, Minister Aghabache commended the participating security forces for their exceptional professionalism and commitment to public safety.
