Bénin: new schedule set for ministerial council meetings

On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the inaugural Council of Ministers for the 2026-2033 septennate convened under the leadership of Head of State Romuald Wadagni. This pivotal session established the core strategic directions for government action over the coming seven years, outlining a clear roadmap for Bénin’s future.

During the meeting, the Béninois president underscored the fundamental duty of all government members: to serve the general interest with unwavering rigor, responsibility, and exemplary conduct.
